Get these in your gobbler, NOW. You can munch these babies in the cake hole for only 65kcal (3.5 syns) each! Healthy chocolate brownies; who knew that was a thing? Certainly not this girl. Seeing as I used to order a brownie for dessert whenever I went out to dinner or lunch without fail, I was absolutely buzz-ing!
The secret ingredient to healthy chocolate brownies.
Water. No Susan, I am not lying! With the magic of water, you can produce 9 of these sumptuous treats. Oh, but you won’t get very far without a bag of LoDough Brownie Mix. I have recently brought LoDough into my diet and let me tell you, it is a game changer. This low carb, re-invented bread is merely 39kcal (2 syns) per WHOLE thing (1 slice). Oh, and more exciting news for any Slimming World readers, it doesn’t use up your Healthy Extra B! So you could have a burger for lunch and pizza for dinner and still be on plan. This dieting thing is so hard, right? Anyway, I’ve digressed. I’m here to talk about brownies.
I was Gabbie Gobsmacked.
I like to think of myself as a ‘brownie connoisseur’. I’ve had my fair share of brownies over the years, so I know what’s good and I know what I like.
I like density, gooeyness and little chocolate chunks ever so slightly melted. Therefor, I would like to give LoDough a round of applause, because they nailed it. Even my non-Slimming Worlder brother was shocked at how much they tasted like the real deal. As I bit into the moist chocolate square, I knew love was real. I knew I had found the one.
So here they are, the beauties themselves: Healthy Chocolate Brownies. Serve with low calorie ice-cream (I recommend Halo Top) to really revel in the chocolatey, brownie goodness.

These sexy LoDough brownies are 65kcal or 3.5 syns a slice! Winner winner chicken dinner am I right?
250ml of Water
Tear open the bag of magic and sprinkle into a large mixing bowl. Then, measure out your water and pour on top of the mixture.
Getting an electric whisk (I used one like this) stir for 30 seconds to a minute until thick and delicious. I suggest using an electric whisk as this baby gets thick. Once all together, scoop it all into your already prepared tray and spread evenly.
Place the tray into toasty oven and consider yourself blessed as you watch a miracle take place for 25 minutes. Once ready, open the doors to heaven and place your brownies onto a cooling rack. I know it’s hard, but leave them for a couple minutes to take shape and begin cooling. Next, lift your brownies with the edges of the baking paper, remove the baking tray and place the brownies back onto the rack. Discard of the paper and cut into 9 glorious pieces.
Leave to cool further, or if you’re like me, eat one straight away because you can’t be tamed. Finally, place in an air tight container and pop them into the fridge.
Eat within 5 days! (they probably won’t last that long, let’s be real).
